The Hub Scott Award is presented at the Ohio SAR Society Annual meeting in May. It is the highest honor that the Ohio Society can bestow upon a member. A beautiful plaque with all of the recipients names on individual bronze plates are shown. The award was instituted in 1979. The recipient keeps it until the next years annual meeting. All of the living recipients come together to select the Compatriot to receive it next year, with the current recipient as chairman.
