John Gray - Ohio's Last Revolutionary War Veteran

John Gray was Ohio's last surviving veteran of the American Revolution. He was born on January 6, 1764 near Mount Vernon, Fairfax County, Virginia and died on March 29, 1868 near Hiramsburg, Noble County, Ohio at the age of 104 years, 2 months, 23 days. He is buried in the McElroy Family Cemetery, Brookfield Township, Noble County, Ohio. He was the 2nd to last Surviving American Revolution Veteran in the entire Country.
