October 7, 2011 Joint DAR & SAR Re-dedication of the Madonna of the Trail Statue - Springfield, OH - 11am.

December 3, 2011 Fort Findlay Chapter DAR grave marking at Maple Grove Cemetery in Findlay, OH on Saturday, December 3rd. The ceremony will be taking place at 11:00am. Maple Grove is right off of I-75. The DAR would like any support the SAR can provide. Chapters are invited to present wreaths. SAR contact: Dan Haas
December 3-4, 2011 The Ohio DAR will be hosting an Open House open to the public at the Waldschmidt Homestead on Saturday, Dec 3rd from 10am-5pm and Sunday Dec 4th from 10am-3pm. Local chapters have chosen a room to decorate for the “A Patchwork Christmas” theme.  This is a great time for those of you who haven’t visited in a few years to see the expansion on what will be an education center for visitors. Tour costs $5 for Adults and $2 for Students and children.  Summer discounts will be honored while they last.
